Blaze Pizza's first Austin location will open at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at 14009 North Research Blvd., Suite 103, at Lakeline Commons. Its second Arkansas location will open at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Little Rock at 11525 Cantrell Road. at Pleasant Ridge Shopping Center, next to Bar Louie's.

To celebrate the grand opening of its Austin store, the restaurant will offer free build-your-own pizzas from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Additionally, there will be a formal ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. and guests will be provided with entertainment by the Cody Bryan Band from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"As a foodie town, we can't wait for Austinites to taste our take on pizza," said Bradford Kent, Blaze Pizza's executive chef. "At Blaze, we're all about carefully sourcing ingredients, cooking by fire, and letting guests enjoy high-quality artisanal pizza at crazy fast speed. We think that the authenticity of our food, plus our service culture that genuinely focuses on the happiness of our guests and crew, will be key to our success here."

"We are so excited to introduce Blaze to the Austin and Cedar Park communities where families, friends, teammates, co-workers or anyone can all gather and build their own personal pizzas," said Brian Kelley, managing partner of Saddles Blazin LLC, a Blaze Pizza franchisee. "We look forward to turning our kitchen into a Friday night family tradition, a celebratory hub to toast a local team's game winning goal or simply just a place to grab some great pizza."

The restaurant will also partner with local schools, sports clubs, nonprofits and other community organizations to host fundraising events at Blaze, donating 20 percent of an event's proceeds back to local groups.

To celebrate the grand opening of its second Arkansas location, the restaurant will also offer free build-your-own pizzas from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Blaze Pizza debuted in the state in October with the opening of its Conway restaurant, located at the Conway Commons (455 Elsinger Blvd.), next to Target.

"Our mission at Blaze is really simple — we're taking pizza back to its roots," said Jim Mizes, president and COO of Blaze Pizza. "By making dough in-house, carefully sourcing ingredients, and cooking by fire, we're giving guests a great way to enjoy artisanal pizza without the wait. It's changing the way people think about and eat pizza."

Blaze Pizza has developed a restaurant fundraiser program that returns 20 percent of an event's proceeds back to local organizations, and will be partnering with local schools, sports clubs and other organizations to host fundraising events at the new restaurant.

"Blaze Pizza is very unique. High quality ingredients, low price point and blazing fast," said Dominic Flis, an Arkansas restaurant developer and restaurateur, who is partnering up with Oklahoma and Louisiana restaurant developer and restaurateur David Ostrowe to develop Blaze Pizza throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma. "I couldn't be more excited."
