Billy Sims BBQ smokes in Kansas

Billy Sims BBQ opened another Kansas-based restaurant in Newton on June 30., according to a press release. The 2,400-square-foot barbecue franchise is located at 1414 North Main Street and will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. According to the release, it is the third of at least five units slated for Kansas in 2016.

"We are excited to be opening Billy Sims BBQ throughout the state," said franchisee Dave Dunn. "We strongly believe that this barbecue is the best in the country and are opening nearby locations as fast as we can."

 "Kansans know and love barbecue, and the state will continue to be a great location for us to grow," said the chain's co-founder and CEO Jeff Jackson. "We want to bring our barbecue to guests across Kansas and will open new locations in the coming years."
