This September, bd's Mongolian Grill will raise funds for Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign.
On September 9, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., participating bd's Mongolian Grill restaurants nationwide will donate 20 percent from every check to No Kid Hungry when a guest mentions "TwEAT Out Day" or "No Kid Hungry."
Throughout September, bd's Mongolian Grill corporate locations will donate 25 cents to No Kid Hungry from every Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake purchase. Participating franchise locations have the ability to select their own dessert to feature during this time period with 25 cents from purchases also benefitting No Kid Hungry. No Kid Hungry T-shirts and Buffs will also be available at select locations for purchase with all proceeds going to No Kid Hungry.
"In America, 1 in 5 children struggle with hunger, and that is an extremely unsettling static to swallow," said president and COO Joe Phraner in a company press release. "With the help of our guests, we hope to make a difference."
