bd's Mongolian Grill opens first Pennsylvania location

bd’s Mongolian Grillis heating up Pittsburgh’s restaurant scene with the opening of its newest restaurant Monday.

“We are very excited to bring bd’s distinctive and flavorful food -- choice meats and seafood, fresh vegetables, crisp salads and flavor-packed sauces and spices prepared by expert grillers on a 600-degree, 7-foot grill -- to the area,” said Seshu Pulivarthi, managing director of Steel City Mongolian Grill. “There is nothing else like it. Our innovative recipe choices and energetic, interactive environment will undoubtedly draw the attention of Pittsburgh area diners.”

This opening marks the first bd’s Mongolian Grill restaurant to open in the state of Pennsylvania and the first of five bd’s Mongolian Grill locations under the Steel City Mongolian Grill ownership group to open in and around Pittsburgh in the coming years.
