Bar-B-Cutie launches new marketing campaigns

March 18, 2008

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bar-B-Cutie has rolled out "Cutie Savers" and monthly catering specials as a way to reward loyal businesses and in-store customers and respond to consumer demand for Internet coupons.

"Cutie Savers" are weekly e-mail offers sent to customers who have filled out cards requesting the coupons. Monthly catering specials are similar to the "Cutie Savers" idea, but are sent only to existing catering customers who have requested the e-mail specials.

A complementary Valentine book, "Tips to Spice Up Your Special Cutie in 2008," a "Little Cutie" kids program featuring specialized characters and the "Cutie Cares about Education" program are the most recent marketing maneuvers unveiled by Bar-B-Cutie.

Another recent marketing rollout has been the creation of the "Cutie Buck." The "Cutie Buck" can be redeemed for a complimentary barbecue sandwich, a Christie Cookie or a serving of banana pudding. Each "Buck" contains its own offer.
