After announcing its decision to remove 12-ounce beverages from drive-thru menu boards, Starbucks says it will not make the move, after all.
According to a story in USA Today, the company has agreed to keep the 12-ounce beverages on drive-thru menus based on feedback it received from consumers.
"We want to make sure there is no confusion and that our menu reflects a range of price points," said spokeswoman Deb Trevino in the USA Today article.
Starbucks had planned to the remove 12-ounce offering in an attempt to prepare for the addition of mandated nutritional information on menu boards. The menu item was removed from drive-thru menus August 31 and is expected to return by September 16.
