Au Bon Pain is welcoming Spring a bit early with a new menu offering a more "flavorful sandwich experience," according to a company press release. The chain has created whole-grain, lower-sodium bread recipes and incorporated fresh basil into its newest highlighted sandwich, the oven-hot chicken margherita.
It has added more whole grains with a new multigrain baguette that guests can enjoy on a variety of signature sandwiches, including the turkey & swiss and Black Angus roast beef & cheddar, according to the release.
The fast casual bakery cafe has also released a new latte flavor, the s’mores latte, and a variety of blueberry bakery treats, including a blueberry scone and blueberry coffee cake.
Lighter menu options include a new smoky bbq chicken salad, fresh blueberry cup and roasted red pepper & gouda soup, according to the release.
