Au Bon Pain expands energy management program

Au Bon Pain has expanded installation of SiteSage, an enterprise-level energy and asset management system, to cafes in Boston, New York City and Washington, DC, according to a recent press release.

“Au Bon Pain’s vision is to reduce the impact that our operations have on the environment through sustainable practices,” said Wade Winters, ABP’s vice president of supply chain.  “We are now looking to beef up our efforts to reduce energy use at our cafes.”

SiteSage allows multi-site operators of small commercial facilities to remotely monitor equipment, diagnosing performance issues and identifying inefficiencies. Operators can monitor performance via web or mobile apps.

The SiteSage platform is a product of Powerhouse Dynamics.
