Asian Box collaborates with 2 local suppliers

Rue & Forsman Ranch and Passmore Ranch, both based in CA, collaborated with Asian Box to offer their produce and seafood in the concept's six locations, according to a press release.

Asian Box plans to double its current locations in 2017.

"As we expand, we are working solely with both Rue & Forsman Ranch for rice and Passmore Ranch for catfish to elevate our dishes and tie the menu back to the local communities," Chad Newton, Asian Box's culinary director, said in the release. 

Rue & Forsman Ranch's rice will be featured in Asian Box's Calhikari Brown Rice and Jasmine White Rice, and Passmore Ranch's seafood will be featured in the concept's Caramel Catfish Box. According to the release, this partnership is just the beginning, with Newton and Executive
Chef Grace Nguyen adding new menu items and suppliers throughout the year.
