Amsterdam Falafelshop debuts in Florida

Amsterdam Falafelshop has launched its first Florida location, opening a unit in South Beach, according to a press release.

"I chose to open an Amsterdam Falafelshop for the freshness of its vegetables, salads and sauces," franchise owner Ajay Patel, said in the release. "My wife and I try to avoid unnecessary preservatives, and I know other people also seek that in comfort food, so this is exactly what I wanted to bring to the South Beach community."

Patel plans to open a second South Florida location and also owns a chain of sandwich shops, according to the release.

"We're so excited for Ajay and his team to open the first Amsterdam Falafelshop in South Florida," Arianne Bennett, CEO of Amsterdam Falafelshop, said in the release. "We want to grow with the right people and they fit the bill for what we are looking for in a partner. Opening this new shop on South Beach has been a long time coming and we're thrilled Ajay's team is on board to make the introduction to South Florida."
