3M Scotch-Brite Griddle Liquid awarded Green Seal certification

3M's Scotch-Brite Quick Clean Griddle Liquid has been awarded Green Seal certification. The product is certified under the GS-53 Green Seal standard for "Specialty Cleaning Products for Industrial and Institutional Use," and is currently the only GS-53 certified griddle cleaning liquid in the industry, according to a news release.

In order to be Green Seal certified, the Scotch-Brite Quick Clean Griddle Liquid had to meet requirements in five major categories: Functional performance, health and environment, manufacturing sustainability, packaging sustainability, and training and labeling. This certification indicates that the Scotch-Brite Quick Clean Griddle Liquid is a more sustainable, non-toxic, environmentally-preferred cleaning product.

3M's Scotch-Brite Quick Clean Griddle Cleaning System is a three-step process that can clean a dirty, food-soiled griddle in 3 to 5 minutes.
