Smashburger adds PB&J Shake

Smashburger has unveiled its newest Häagen-Dazs shake, the Peanut Butter & Jelly, plucked directly from its secret menu of items created by customers. This hand-spun shake, available through Sept. 30, combines Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream blended with strawberry syrup and crushed Nutter Butter Cookies to create an authentic peanut butter and jelly blend.

"In honor of National Ice Cream Month this July we are pleased to introduce our newest shake inspired by the true American classic, the Peanut Butter and Jelly," said Tom Ryan, founder and COO for Smashburger. "Our customers have been coming up with secret menu items for several years and the Peanut Butter and Jelly shake has become a favorite. What better time than summer to reinvent the classic in the form of a rich and creamy hand-spun treat that can be enjoyed at all times of day."

Smashburger's menu features a variety of customized recipes featuring nationwide favorites as well as regionally inspired burgers, sandwiches and sides that Smashburger creates to fit the taste preferences of the local market, Ryan said. The menu also allows guests to build their own recipe, thanks to its "Create Your Own" offering, that has led to the development of several secret menu items.
