2025 Fast Casual Top 100 Movers & Shakers

The 2025 Top 100 Movers & Shakers report marks an exciting evolution in our methodology with the introduction of the Fast Casual Index, launched on Jan 20. Developed in collaboration with Anand Tumuluru and the innovative team at Loop, this index brought a new layer of data-driven insight to our selection process.
By tracking key metrics across nominated brands – including menu pricing, location footprint and growth, reputation and customer sentiment, sales volume and growth, social media presence, and Google/Apple listing performance – the index provided judges with objective data to inform their decisions. This powerful tool not only helped in the selection of the Top 100 but also offers a comprehensive view of the industry's performance, fostering greater recognition and inspiring future innovation.
This year, the exceptional caliber of leadership across the industry led to a slight adjustment in our numbers—we were compelled to recognize 100 brands and 25 executives instead of our usual 75- 25 split. We also added an extra executive, a testament to the fierce competition and outstanding contributions within the fast-casual arena.
