BarSights Manager Log Book Now Includes New Features to Improve Communication

BarSights' Manager Log Book is a web-based software application designed to help restaurants manage their daily operations. The log book includes features to help improve communication with staff and management, such as automatic email reports and advanced data entry calculations.

BarSights' Manager Log Book has recently undergone some changes in order to better serve the needs of managers and restaurant owners. Allowing restaurant owners more flexibility within the design of their online manager log book, they can now customize their system to include features that will help improve communication with their staff and management team.

Automatic Emailed Reports

All log book entries can be set to be either sent immediately, or scheduled for a later time, to be bundled up an an easy to read report for the management team to be kept in the loop of the daily operations of your restaurant. Useful for reporting daily sales numbers, maintenance requests, and other critical information, so all the restaurant managers are able to monitor business trends and schedule accordingly.

Advanced Data Entry Calculations

Expanding upon the features for the table element to the online logbook, managers can add functions to specific cells to automatically calculate totals of rows and columns in the table. These functions save time in repetitive data entry situations, such as daily sales totals.

With these ongoing improvements, BarSight continues to design the software to be flexible and customizable, so restaurant owners can tailor the system to their specific needs.
