Zpizza expanding to Tucson market

TUCSON, Ariz. — zpizza, the Newport, Beach, Calif.-based fast-casual pizza chain plans to open two units in the Tucson area by spring of 2007.

Franchisees David and Christine Tosi will run the units.

"zpizza is already a huge hit in the Phoenix area," said Chris Bright, zpizza president. "We are very excited about expanding our reach into the state of Arizona and bringing our innovative and health conscious restaurant to the Tucson area."

Currently there are two zpizza stores located in the Phoenix area. zpizza expects to have more than 60 locations operating nationwide by the end of 2006, and another 200 are in development.
