Zoup to open in Northern Kentucky

Zoup! is opening a location this fall in Florence, Kentucky -- part of the metro Cincinnati market, according to a press release. 

"My husband, Jim, and I happened across Zoup! last year while traveling," Florence franchise owner and operator Pat Cowley said in the release. “We loved the idea, as we are year-round soup-eaters. We could not believe how good the soup was."

Cowley, a 30-year veteran of the corporate sector, most recently worked as senior vice president of a marketing, research and media services company.

Founded in 1998, the brand has units throughout the United States and Canada with almost 100 restaurants in 17 states and provinces.
