Zoup taking on Pennsylvania city of Washington

Zoup is preparing to open the doors to its first location in the city of Washington in Pennsylvania. The unit, at 181 Old Mill Blvd., in the Old Mill Shopping Center, is the state's tenth Zoup.

"My wife and I can’t wait to start serving our award-winning soups and made-to-order salads and sandwiches to the amazing community here in Washington," said franchisee Dean Evers.

He hopes to open between three and five additional locations throughout the Pittsburgh area in the near future.

"When we stepped into our first Zoup restaurant, we were immediately drawn to how warm the atmosphere was and the friendliness of the employees," Dean Evers said. "Then, we sampled the soups and we were sold. Even our daughter, who is a very picky eater, loved a majority of the soups. We are all really looking forward to officially welcoming our neighbors to our beautiful new restaurant and to becoming an integral part of the local community."
