Zoup opens in Ballston, Virginia

Zoup Eatery is open for business in Ballston, Virginia, on North Fairfax Drive. It is the first Arlington location for the brand, according to a press release.

"The Zoup! Ballston family is delighted to finally open our doors for our friends and neighbors," said franchise owner and operator Jim Beverley in the release. "I can't wait for our guests to experience our award-winning gourmet soups and our dedication to serving our community, and I know they'll come to love Zoup! Eatery as much as I do."

The restaurant hosted two previews on Oct. 18 and 19, collecting over $1,700 for the Arlington Community Foundation, a nonprofit that works to strengthen and support those who live and work in Arlington.

The restaurant will host a week of food and drink specials to celebrate its grand opening the week of Dec. 7.
