Zoup opening 2nd Pittsburgh location

September 18, 2018

Zoup is opening a second Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, location this fall at the Robinson Town Centre shopping complex, 514 Park Manor Blvd., according to a company press release.

"We couldn't be more thrilled to be bringing delicious, healthy soups to Robinson Town Centre," said franchise owner Toni Evers, in the release. She owns the Washington unit with her husband, Dean, and will celebrate its first anniversary this month.

"Zoup is a proven concept with a first-rate culture of serving the community. We're looking forward to being a vital partner to our friends and neighbors for years to come," she said.

The Evers will open three to five additional Zoup restaurants throughout the Pittsburgh area. Entrepreneurship runs in the family for Dean, who serves as global supply chain manager with the Kurt J. Lesker company. His father ran a chain of nine Ben Franklin stores in addition to two food stores, a bowling alley, a movie theater and a farm.

Today, all seven of Evers' siblings and nine of his nieces and nephews also own their own businesses. In addition to this history of entrepreneurship, Toni brings 20 years of leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies.

Founded in 1998, Zoup has more than 100 locations.
