Zoup! adds three units

The Michigan-based soup concept is adding units in Chicago, Ontario and Michigan.

Michigan-based Zoup! announced the opening of three new locations this month, bringing the total units to 73 for the soup concept.

New locations include:

• A second Zoup! restaurant in downtown Chicago, located in the first level of the Washington-Madison-Wells Parking Garage at 177 W. Washington St. The restaurant, the second Zoup! for franchisees Jim Behling and Stan Bumstead, opened on Dec. 4.
• A new location in the Hampshire Gate Shopping Centre at 2525 Hampshire Gate in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The new restaurant, owned by franchisees Dina Tawfik and Zahra Salim, will open on Dec. 11.
• A new location in the Portage Crossings Shopping Center at 6749 S. Westnedge Ave. in Portage, Michigan. The new restaurant, owned by Mike and Kate Longman, will open on Dec. 11.
