Zoes Kitchen names new CEO

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Zoes Kitchen has named Greg Dollarhyde to the position of president and chief executive officer, the company announced.
Dollarhyde, who currently serves as the executive chairman of the board of directors for the 21-unit fast casual chain, replaces co-founderJohn Cassimus. Cassimus resigned to pursue other interests.
Dollarhyde has served as the chairman or CEO of six different restaurant companies, including the CEO position at fast casual chain Baja Fresh. He also serves as the executive chairman of Pacific Island Restaurants, a franchisee of 91 Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants in Hawaii and Guam.
The company also named Trey Hornsby to the position of chief operating officer. Hornsby formerly served as senior director of global restaurant excellence for Yum! Brands.
