Zaxby's reintros sandwich using famous TV mom

Zaxby's has reintroduced its Chicken Parmesan Sandwich Meal and is using the "Everybody Loves Raymond" TV mom Doris Roberts to spread the news. Roberts also will help the chain market Fried White Cheddar Bites in four TV commercials set to begin airing today.

The Chicken Parmesan Sandwich is available for a limited time only and features the company's signature Chicken Fingerz on Texas Toast with Garlic Parmesan and traditional Italian Marinara sauce. The Fried White Cheddar Bites are a core menu item and are real Wisconsin white cheddar cheese bits dipped in batter, fried to perfection and served with Italian Marinara sauce.

Roberts joins a long list of celebrities in recent years appearing in ads that have helped drive the chain's steady growth. She's the 38th celebrity to appear in the company's television ads since 2007 and joins the likes of Bobby Allison, John Schneider, Jerry Rice, Penny Marshall and Terry Bradshaw. Since rolling out the celebrity campaign, Zaxby's has opened 125 locations, surpassing 500 locations in 2010.
