Zaxby's building prototype stores in South Carolina

Zaxby's is building a prototype of its new rustic, barn-style store design in upstate South Carolina, according to the Greenville News.

An existing restaurant in Easley will be torn down and rebuilt in the new prototype style, and a new restaurant will be built in Pickens.

The new stores will feature larger footprints and kitchens, two drive-thru lanes, high ceilings, new décor and Coca-Cola freestyle machines.
