Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt has added Greek frozen yogurt to its menus, and to kick off the product launch, the chain is hosting in-store toga parties April 25-27 in all its stores, according to a company press release. Customers wearing togas over their clothing will receive 20 percent off their purchase.
As part of the chain's "Eat Healthy, Eat Yumz" campaign, it's giving customers another healthy option with Greek frozen yogurt, featuring health benefits such as 7 percent protein in every serving. That's more than three times the amount found in their regular frozen yogurt, plus the Greek version has zero fat and is loaded with probiotics, said Matt Thelander, co-founder of Yumz.
"Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt is always striving to offer the most unique variety of healthy frozen yogurt in our stores," he said. "We are excited to bring Greek fro-yo to our flavor menu because it supports our mission to provide delicious frozen yogurt for a healthy lifestyle."
