Your Pie hits a growth spurt

Your Pie said it not only opened six stores in the fourth quarter of last year, but as previously reported here, named a CEO and CMO for the Athens, Georgia-based brand. The chain now has 74 locations across 19 states, a news release said.

Between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, Your Pie opened restaurants in Blacksburg, Virginia, as well as Lumberton, North Carolina, and the cities of Buford, Evans, Marietta and Griffin, Georgia. The brand plans to continue expanding in these and other states this year.

Your Pie named former COO Dave McDougall as CEO in November and appointed Lisa Dimson CMO in October. The brand's founder said he believes the brand is flourishing under McDougall's lead.  

"Dave is a forward-thinking leader adept at creating strategies that support our existing stores while also prioritizing the longevity of our brand," Drew French, Your Pie founder and president, said in the release. "I'm excited to see Your Pie flourish under Dave's leadership in 2020 and in the years to come."

Between now and March 31, the brand expects to open about five stores in Georgia, Florida, Virginia and Arkansas.
