Yogurtland has signed franchise agreements for 13 locations, a move that includes the self-serve frozen yogurt chain's first entry into the Idaho market.

The Dallas-based company announced Wednesday that the expansion also includes stores across California, Nevada and Arizona. The brand operates over 220 locations in the U.S. and internationally.

Existing brand partner BMG Ventures LLC led the expansion into Idaho with a three-store agreement. The locations are planned for Boise, Caldwell and Nampa.

"We're especially proud to enter Idaho for the first time, expanding our reach and bringing the Yogurtland experience to an entirely new market," Chuck Ballard, Yogurtland's director of franchise development, said in a company press release.

The expansion includes a mix of current operators and new franchisees:

  • California: In the Bay Area, new franchisee Dahl Investments LLC signed a three-store agreement for Sunnyvale, Redwood City and San Mateo. In Southern California, existing operator ARS BROS Inc. will add two stores in the San Diego area, while Thi Ha LLC will open a location in El Monte.
  • Arizona: New partner SER GM LLC plans to open three locations in North Scottsdale, South Scottsdale and San Tan.
  • Nevada: Sweetland LLC signed a deal for a new location in Las Vegas.

"Our growth is fueled by partners who embrace innovation, community connection, and long-term success," Ballard said. "Multi-unit agreements allow franchisees to optimize resources and drive profitability across locations."

In addition to the newly signed agreements, the company stated several locations are under construction and expected to open in the coming months. They include sits in: Glendale, Arizona; Pleasanton and El Monte, California; Las Vegas; and two locations in Texas, including a corporate-owned store in Flower Mound.
