Yogurt Mountain opens S.C. location

Yogurt Mountain LLC opened its second store in Greenville, S.C., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 9. Festivities continued with an in-store promotion where customers visiting between 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. received a free 10-ounce yogurt.

"We are delighted with the favorable reception that we are receiving for our self-serve concept, which gives customers the convenience of build-your-own yogurt and topping combinations galore in a pay-by-the-ounce model," said David Kahn, president and CEO of Yogurt Mountain LLC.

Yogurt Mountain offers 16 rotating flavors of fat-free or low-fat varieties enhanced with probiotics and more than 50 available toppings. The first store opened in September 2009 in Birmingham, Ala., and there are currently 12 stores throughout Alabama, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
