Yogurt Mountain opens in Charleston, S.C.

Yogurt Mountain LLC has announced that it has opened a new store in Charleston, S.C. Customers who visit the store can enjoy a free 10-ounce yogurt during its Dec. 2 grand opening event.

Yogurt Mountain opened its first store in September 2009 in Birmingham, Ala., and has 11 locations throughout Alabama, Florida, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. More company-owned locations are under development and expected to open by year end.

"We are very excited about expanding our presence in South Carolina. We have one store in Anderson and one in Greenville, with a second store opening in Greenville on Dec. 6," said David Kahn, president and CEO of Yogurt Mountain LLC. "We believe Yogurt Mountain’s unique, family-oriented environment will be a welcome addition to the Charleston market, and we look forward to becoming an active member of the community."

Yogurt Mountain offers 16 rotating flavors of fat-free or low-fat frozen yogurt enhanced with probiotics and more than 50 available toppings.
