Chicago-based Wow Bao has debuted at the Salt Lake City International Airport in partnership with OHM Concession Group.
"We are proud to join the award-winning concessions program at Salt Lake City International Airport," Wow Bao CEO and President Geoff Alexander said in a company press release. "This location is a significant opportunity for Wow Bao to further expand our brand presence across the country. Our airport stores are a key channel that amplifies Wow Bao and demonstrates our commitment to serving quality, fast casual Asian street food to a broader audience that expects the unique flavors and on-the-go convenience Wow Bao is known for."
Flyers will be able to order from menu items including Teriyaki Chicken, Spicy Mongolian Beef and BBQ Pork Bao, as well as Spicy Kung Pao Chicken over Jasmine or Fried Rice. Open 365 days a year, the Salt Lake City International Airport location will operate from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and also offer Wow Bao's traditional breakfast bao, including sausage, egg and cheese; bacon, egg and cheese; and spinach, egg and mushroom until 10 a.m. The location is situated on Concourse A East, next to Gate A28
This is Wow Bao's seventh airport location and second partnership with an Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, reinforcing the brand's commitment as an active member of the Airport Minority Advisory Council, Alexander said.
Wow Bao started in 2003 in several Chicago storefronts and is now in nearly 700 virtual restaurants across the U.S. as well as in grocery stores, airports, universities, hotels, e-commerce sites and hot-food vending machines.
