Wow Bao adds a healthy option to the menu

Wow Bao, a fast casual Asian brand, is putting zoodles and lettuce cups — both having less than 500 calories — as base options for its bowls.

The menu addition, according to a press release, comes a month after the company debuted its first gluten-free bao bun. The buns are made with tapioca and rice flour that’s filled with chicken teriyaki and tamari.
