Wolfnights launches LTO with edible gold

Wolfnights, a New York gourmet wrap concept, is launching a periodic special called the Full Moon Wrap. To coincide with this month's lunar crescendo, the special will be the Wolf of Wall Street, and includes grilled steak, scrambled eggs, lamb bacon, marinated olives, edamame, sour cream, fried chicken skin and barbecue pineapple sauce wrapped up in gold-infused dough, according to a company press release.

"We wanted to add something truly decadent to add to our already creative menu for the first Full Moon offering," Itai Afek, founder and CEO of Wolfnights said in the release. "And you can't get more outrageous than all of those indulgent ingredients presented in an edible gold."

The $15 premium wrap is available from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, and the chain will only create 100 per day. Guests may order them in-house, via wolfnightsusa.com or via the Wolfnights' app for pick-up.

Founded in 2011 by Itai Afek, Wolfnights creates the "Ideal Bite," that it said ensures part of the wrap contains salty, sweet, sour, crunchy and chewy. The concept's signature menu items feature a blend of international flavor profiles including Mediterranean and Thai elements.
