Wiz Khalifa hopes fast casual joint is next hit

Grammy- and Golden Globe-nominated recording artist Wiz Khalifa is getting in the restaurant business with HotBox by Wiz, a delivery-only restaurant chain serving customers in major metro areas, including Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Denver, Houston and New York City.

"I'm excited that you can try some of my favorite foods at HotBox by Wiz — it's an awesome concept and super cool to watch come to life," Khalifa said in a company press release. "Can't wait for everyone to try it!"

The restaurant's full menu, personally curated by Khalifa with input from fans, includes:

• Blazed Ends, burnt brisket ends in a smoky sweet BBQ sauce.
• Taylor Gang Turkey Burger, a turkey patty topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and creamy mayo.
• Chip Hits, house-made chips tossed in parmesan and lemon.
• Mac & Yellow, a bowl of mac & cheese with even more cheese on top.
• The Mile High Dark Chocolate Brownie.

Khalifa's partner in the venture is Nextbite, a Denver-based company that creates delivery-only restaurant concepts.

HotBox by Wiz merchandise, which includes a variety of hoodies, sweats, tees and hats, will be available this weekend.
