Wingstop opened 300th store

DALLAS — Wingstop celebrated its 300th opening with an event at the new Lancaster, Calif., restaurant. The company believes it will open 500 restaurants by 2008.

 

"Although we have planned for this level of expansion, the reality of it continues to pleasantly surprise us," said Jim Flynn, CEO of Wingstop Restaurants Inc. "The growth really says two things about us. One, entrepreneurs and business leaders can't wait to come onboard with us. And two, the country loves our wings."
