Wingstop hits 200-Store milestone

Leading Chicken Wing Chain Experiences Strong Growth.

The 200th Wingstop, which opened on Oct. 15, is owned by Lance Graulich, president of Lord of the Wings LLC who has over 20 years experience in the restaurant industry. Graulich's experience includes being director of operations for a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts franchise as well as director of operations for Fatburger Corporation. "Hitting the 200-store mark is exciting, made even more so given the fact that Wingstop continues to grow and our stores continue do very well; comp store sales year-to-date are in the high teens and we're ranked the 4th sales- growth chain in the nation," said James Flynn, Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. This July, Wingstop was ranked number four in Restaurants & Institutions "Top 400 Sales-Growth Leaders" (the only wing chain in the top ten). Also in July, Wingstop ranked number seven in Restaurant Business "Top 50 Growth Chains" (ranked by percentage increase in units) and number three in their list of chains by increase in average unit volume. The Wingstop chain offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop features eight proprietary wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan. The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming-hot.
