Wingstop expands Atlanta footprint

April 7, 2011

Texas-based Wingstop has announced plans to expand its presence in the Atlanta area by 20 locations within the next several years.

To kickstart this growth, Wingstop will offer introductory incentives for new franchisees and will host an open house April 20-21 for interested candidates. The event will entail one-on-one meetings with company executives to learn more about the opportunity.

"Our restaurants have a very loyal fan following with a lot of potential for expansion," said David Vernon, vice president of franchise sales for Wingstop. "That, coupled with the simple operating platform of cooked-to-order wings and fresh-cut fries makes Wingstop an ideal concept for entrepreneurs and multi-unit operators in Atlanta."

To schedule a meeting in Atlanta, contact Steve Sweetman at ssweetman@wingstop.com or visit the company's franchising page online.
