Lola Beans, a drive-thru franchise specializing in coffee, infused sodas and plant-based energy drinks, has signed an area representative agreement with franchisees Kirk and Coleen Jeter to develop over 120 units across Texas.
The expansion represents the largest commitment in the brand's history. The Jeters, who have previously operated multiple Wingstop and Crumbl locations in North Carolina and Maryland, initially signed a 15-unit agreement in October. After reviewing development plans and working with leadership, the group expanded their role to lead operations for the entire state.
"We've considered a lot of great concepts while growing our portfolio," Coleen Jetern said in a company press release. "The moment we experienced Lola Beans, we knew we found a hidden gem. Lola Beans has everything: strong culture, low labor and powerful unit economics. We believe Lola Beans will be the next major player in beverage franchising, hands down."
Under the agreement, The Jeter Group plans to develop at least 15 stores themselves, targeting four to six openings annually. As area representatives, they will also manage franchisee recruitment and operations support for the rest of the state. The group has appointed Tarji Carter as vice president of franchise development to assist in identifying partners.
Early market analysis suggests Texas could support between 180 and 200 locations. The first Texas store is expected to open in the second quarter of 2026, with an initial rollout planned for the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
Lola Beans operates a compact, dual-lane drive-thru model that combines specialty coffee, "Lola Colas" (infused sodas) and energy drinks. The units are about 510 square feet, designed for high volume and operational efficiency.
"Upgrading from 15 units to leading development for the entire state of Texas speaks volumes," said Donny Bradley, co-founder of Lola Beans. "The Jeter Group has scaled some of the country's most recognizable brands. They know how to run exceptional operations, build strong teams and create true community loyalty."
Lola Beans has partnered with SHCC Brands to manage national rollout strategy.
"I'm very excited about Kirk and Coleen's commitment to servant leadership," John Moates of SHCC Brands, said in the release. "Their genuine desire to care for all stakeholders is both rare and authentic. We see a very bright future for Lola Beans' Texas development under their guidance."
Founded in 2020 by Donny and Missy Bradley, Lola Beans is a drive-thru beverage franchise inspired by the coffee culture of Alaska.
