Wingstop appoints new general counsel

Jay Young, who previously served at Chuck E. Cheese, will serve on the company’s executive leadership team.

Wingstop Restaurants Inc. today announced that it has appointed Jay Young to the position of General Counsel.

Young will serve on the company’s executive leadership team reporting directly to President and CEO Charlie Morrison.

"We are delighted to welcome Jay, a great addition to the Wingstop team," Morrison said in a company press release. "Jay is a highly-experienced executive whose business and legal acumen will be invaluable to us as we continue to aggressively grow our proven concept. We look forward to his contributions."

Before joining Wingstop, Young served as SVP and general counsel for CEC Entertainment, parent company of Chuck E. Cheese's.
