Wing It On! flies into Raleigh-Durham

Wing It On!, a New England-based fast casual wing restaurant known for its fresh wings 'n wiches, has signed an agreement with franchisee Evgeny Gonokhin to open a location in the Raleigh-Durham area, according to a company press release.

This will be the second Wing It On! location in North Carolina in addition to the corporate location in Raleigh. The agreement represents a part of the brand's larger growth strategy to lock in 25 to 30 additional units by the end of year in target markets like Raleigh.

"Wing It On! is a very appealing brand with superior product and an excellent corporate team for support," Gonokhin said in the release. "There is extraordinary growth potential, and I am proud to be investing in such an innovative company and bringing even more delicious wings 'n wiches to the Raleigh-Durham area."

Evgeny brings business and restaurant experience with him to Wing It On!. Previously, he held a career in finance and business development and most recently he operated a Russian-based crawfish franchise, combining his business knowledge and passion for the food and beverage sector.

"Because of his passion for the food and impressive business experience, Evgeny is exactly the kind of operator we are looking to add to our brand as we continue to grow around the country," Matt Ensero, CEO and founder of Wing It On!, said in the release. "As we expand in the Raleigh-Durham area, having someone as committed and dedicated as him is an excellent addition to the Wing It On! family."

Ensero opened the first Wing It On! in his hometown of Waterbury, Connecticut in 2011.
