Will Chipotle's partnership with crisis PR firm help rebuild reputation?

The firm is known for helping Johnson & Johnson recover from a Tylenol tampering incident that killed seven people in 1982.

In another step toward rebuilding its image damanged by recent E. coli outbreaks, Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc has hired Burson-Marsteller as its U.S. agency of record, a strategic communications and public relations firm. The firm is known for helping Johnson & Johnson recover from a Tylenol tampering incident that killed seven people in 1982.

Chipotle nor Burson responded to requests for comment.
