After launching its first retail line last month, Washington D.C.-based Little Sesame said its hummus was available at 13 Whole Foods locations in the Mid-Atlantic region.
"We are proud to collaborate with Whole Foods Market, bringing our planet friendly hummus to market," Little Sesame co-founder Nick Wiseman said in a company press release. "We want to make hummus the everyday alternative protein."
The grocery-ready line up includes the best-selling Smooth Classic Hummus as well as two new flavors: Caramelized Onion and Jammy Tomato. The company uses organic Kabuli chickpeas as the base for its hummus, exclusively grown by Casey Bailey on his family's 5,000-acre farm in Fort Benton, Montana.
In addition to Whole Foods Market, Little Sesame products are available at Little Sesame shops, Foxtrot markets, 4P Foods and at Central Farm Markets in Maryland.
Founded by third generation Washingtonian cousins, David and Nick Wiseman, and chef partner Ronen Tenne, Little Sesame has two locations.
