Texas-based Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is expanding into Scotland, marking the latest phase of its rapid growth across the United Kingdom.
The company has signed franchise agreements for locations in both Edinburgh and Glasgow, with the first store's opening date to be announced soon. This move follows the brand's recent debut in Wales and will bring its menu of made-to-order sandwiches, wraps and salads to Scottish customers for the first time.
Rami Awada, the UK master franchisee for Which Wich, said Edinburgh and Glasgow have "thriving food scenes and strong demand for innovative fast-casual concepts."
"Our new partners saw the potential immediately, and we're actively seeking more franchisees who recognize the power of our proven model to drive strong sales and repeat traffic," Awada said in a company press release.
Founded in Dallas in 2003, Which Wich has gained international recognition for its unique ordering system and custom, "build-your-own" menu. The brand has a presence in several countries and is continuing its expansion throughout the UK by working with franchise partners.
Franchise opportunities are still available in select regions of the UK.
