Which Wich founder opens burger joint

August 2, 2009

Jeff Sinelli, the founder and owner of Dallas-based Which Wich, has opened a new restaurant concept in May focused on Mexican-style burgers.

The drive-thru restaurant, Burguesa Burger, accepts pesos in addition to U.S. dollars, and serves two Mexican-style burgers, The Burguesa and the La Monumental, which features two beef patties, two slices of cheese, ham, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, refried beans, a crunchy tostada, and special sauce all served on a Bimbo sesame seed bun and crowned with a pepper. The menu also features proprietary sugar-cane sodas, donuts and milkshakes.

Burguesa was reviewed by theDallas Observerand by Dallas'Pegasus News. While the burgers and sugar-cane sodas received good reviews, both publications said the fries were disappointing.

The company is hosting an open house and informational franchise meeting Aug. 13 in Dallas.
