Westchester County NY passes menu labeling
November 10, 2008
Newsday: Westchester County, a New York suburb, has passed a law requiring restaurant chains with at least 15 locations worldwide to display calorie counts on menus and menu boards. About 600 chain restaurants will be affected.
The law takes effect 180 days after it's signed by the county executive. A spokeswoman says it could be signed this month.
