Wahoo's opens new Calif. location

SANTA ANA, Calif. — Wahoo's Fish Tacos will host a grand opening event April 19 in Chino Hills, Calif., for their 55th restaurant. Hosted by Wahoo's founders, Wing Lam, Ed Lee and Mingo Lee, the event will build upon the company's 20-year milestone, serving up 20-cent tacos starting at 11 a.m. The celebration begins at 10:20 a.m. and also will include a snowboard rail contest and a demo from the Signal Snowboard team.
The highlight of the grand opening will include the snowboard rail contest, complete with real snow. The rail contest will include some of the top amateur snowboarders. After the contest, Signal Snowboards' pro riders will perform demos. Customers also will have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win prizes including a Snowboard from Signal Snowboards and gift cards from Beachworks, as well as gift cards and merchandise, courtesy of Wahoo's.
