Wahlburgers replacing restaurants inside Hy-Vee stores

Hy-Vee, a grocer based in the Midwest that became Wahlburgers' largest franchisee three years ago, is adding to that lead by transforming all its Market Grille locations inside the stores into Wahlburgers. 

"We are fortunate to have Hy-Vee as a franchisee partner and are thrilled that they continue to grow the Wahlburgers brand intheir territory," Wahlburgers CEO Patrick Renna told FastCasual."Our partnership began with the hugely successful opening of Wahlburgers at Mall of America in May 2018, and over the last two years has grown to a total of six free-standing Wahlburgers restaurants throughout the midwest." 

Hy-Vee will transition 21 Market Grille locations to Wahlburgers over the next few months in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. The first will open in June.
