Voodoo Doughnut has created the Caramel Cha Cha Chai, a chai cream-filled raised shell, topped with a caramel drizzle, whipped cream and chai spice, in support of the Voodoo Thurgood Marshall College Fund, an organization representing the Black College community, according to a company press release.
"We are so proud to continue our relationship with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund," Chris Schultz, Voodoo Doughnut CEO said in a company press release. "We first partnered with them for a special event on Juneteenth, and we were thrilled to raise funds for such an important cause. For more than 30 years, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund has been relentless in promoting educational excellence and preparing the next generation of leaders. We couldn't be more honored to partner with them again."
Now through Dec. 27, TMCF will receive a portion of the proceeds from each Caramel Cha Cha Chai sold.
"We applaud Voodoo Doughnut for their commitment to the Black College community," TMCF Chief Programs Officer Dr. Eric D. Hart said in the release. "Finding partners with shared values is a high priority for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and the students we serve. Voodoo Doughnut, like TMCF, is committed to education and serving its community."
