Viva Chicken, a fast-casual Peruvian rotisserie restaurant, is refreshing its brand identity with a new logo and packaging, according to a company press release.
The rebrand debuted at Viva's newest location in Greenville, South Carolina, which opened in August, and will begin rolling out to other stores this fall.
The updated logo is highlighted by the brand's signature orange color and utilizes a modern, edgy typeface. Viva worked with Charlotte-based marketing company Black Wednesday to dig into the brand, understand its growth strategy and collaborate on creating a look that demonstrates the company's culture, audience and vision.
"Viva Chicken has done a lot of growing up over the past eight years, evolving from a single location to 13 stores in three states with more on the way," Gerald Pulsinelli, Viva Chicken CEO, said in the release. "Guests will start seeing the new identity in stores in September and we'll transition everything to the new branding through the New Year. With this new identity, we want to make sure everyone knows where we came from, who we are and what we believe."
Founded by Randy Garcia and chef Bruno Macchiavello in 2013, Viva Chicken aims to deliver the hottest, freshest chicken made with Macchiavello's family recipes.
Viva Chicken operates 13 locations across the Carolinas and Utah. Two more locations are on tap for Viva in the coming months, the company's first Charleston area location, opening in Summerville's Nexton Village this fall, as well as a second Greenville, South Carolina restaurant, opening in early 2022.
