A Richmond, Virginia chef is placing refrigerated glassfront vending machines to offer his food at retail locations, according to a wric.com report.
The business, called ELYA, which stands for "eat like your ancestors," offers breakfast items, lunch items and entrées between $4 and $14.
Chef Danny Sterling started the business after plans for a restaurant were interrupted first by cancer, which he overcame, and then by the coronavirus pandemic.
He has so far placed three of the refrigerated vending machines which he stocks with food he prepares.
