Villa partnering with Salsarita’s

Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina is coming back to Concord Mills Mall in Concord, North Carolina, courtesy of Villa Enterprises, a 50-year-old, global multi-brand restaurant operator and franchisor with more than 400 restaurants in malls, airports, casinos and other high-traffic locations, according to a company press release.  

“Salsarita’s is a perfect fit for the Concord Mills Mall location,” said Villa Enterprise’s Executive Vice President of Development Adam Torine. “Salsarita’s joins the Villa Family with our four other restaurant concepts, Villa Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s,  Bananas, and South Philly Steaks & Fries, to offer guests great choices of high quality, delicious, fresh menu items.”  

The revamp of the Concord Mills Mall location of Salsarita’s comes in a year when the franchise is experiencing growth throughout the country, Torine said. Backed by restaurant industry veteran Phil Friedman, CEO of Salsarita’s, the franchise has multiple deals in place to bring restaurants to areas including Alpharetta, Georgia; High Point, North Carolina; and Columbia, South Carolina, all within the year. Already this year, Salsarita’s has come to Starkville, Mississippi, with a location scheduled to be opened in Oxford, Mississippi in May.

“Bringing Salsarita’s back to Concord Mills provides another tremendous opportunity to reach a large audience with a fresh new look,” said Friedman. “Salsarita’s is a concept that has demonstrated success in universities, airports and malls, and the Concord Mills location is primed to replicate that success.”
