Vicious Biscuit adding home state location

Vicious Biscuit, a Charleston-based breakfast concept known for its biscuit creations, will open its seventh corporate location on May 4 in Columbia, South Carolina. The 3,250-square-foot restaurant, located at 3246 Forest Drive in Forest Acres, will feature biscuit sandwiches, all-day brunch options and a Jam Bar with house-made jams and butters.

"We are thrilled to open in Columbia, a vibrant city that perfectly matches our brand's energy," Vicious Biscuit co-founder George McLaughlin said in a company press release. McLaughlin began his restaurant career in Columbia, opening his first McAlister's Deli franchise in 1997.

Vicious Biscuit, which operates in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida, has awarded 38 franchise units across eight states.
